3 Strategies for Generating Great Content

  • Requires PRE-planning
  • Requires being very organized
  • Content is Often Educational or interesting (not usually fun/ creative)
  • Can be “Batch Created” weeks or even months in advance which means…
  • Can be scheduled

This strategy is wonderful if you enjoy scheduling content creation… but for most people this doesn’t work because creativity comes in unpredictable waves.

This strategy can be challenging when you are busy or overwhelmed.

  • User-Generated Content
  • Can repost content from other accounts (always give credit!!!)
  • Can be requested/encouraged using Brand Ambassadors, “Influencers”, and/or Affiliates

This strategy is a great option if your customers are posting great content you can use, or if you’ve got brand ambassadors/affiliates!

if you want to start using this strategy, find ways to encourage your customers to post & tag your business more

  • Think of this as “Storytelling” or documenting the journey
  • Usually done in Real Time, and often captures Behind-The-Scenes
  • Tends to be very entertaining and interesting to your audience because it’s raw and real
  • Requires no planning, organization, and minimal creativity, which means there is almost no friction (aka this is the easiest method!)

This strategy is (almost) perfect if you’re “too busy” for content creation!

Talking-points in your business are almost always relevant more than once. If you have a piece of content that did well, re-use it!

No need to re-invent the wheel, you can Repurpose the idea/theme of your content.. just find create ways to say the same thing, but different!
