I’m fairly confident that, by now, you’ve heard that you need to be consistent with your social media presence. But what does that really mean?
Let’s start with: Consistency does NOT equal Frequency.
Consistency in regards to social media means “dedicating yourself to your goals and staying focused on the things and activities to achieve your goals.”
In other words, it means you set a goal and then commit to that goal. It does not automatically mean posting 3x per day, 7 days per week.
Consistency with your social media allows you to build trust and relevancy with your audience.. which is essential if your goal is to grow your business and/or convert followers into buyers.
PLUS, CONSISTENCY WITH YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA IS ONE IMPORTANT FACTOR IN HOW THE ALGORITHM RANKS YOUR ACCOUNT. (More on the dreaded algorithm coming soon!)
To be consistent with your social media simply means to be dedicated to showing up regularly, so you can build trust and relevance with your audience, and so you can reach your goals.
